Community Service

This spring, King House members got busy in the community service department! Over several afternoons between March and April, teams of Kappas joined forces with Save the Bay to clean up shoreline trash at parks around Narragansett bay. In all, Kappas collected roughly 40 pounds of trash this semester through community service initiatives. We also comprised more than half of the attendance of the special edition shoreline cleanup event hosted by the Undergraduate Council of Students in early April. Next semester, the Kappas are looking forward to continuing our budding partnership with Save the Bay, as well as connecting with community service-oriented student groups on Brown’s campus.
